1. Carefully polished.

Treating wooden cutlery with oil will not cover up any imperfections left by sanding. It is recommended to grind to 400 mesh. If your lathe can rotate in the opposite direction, you can switch the grinding in both directions for better removal of grinding marks.

2. Burrs appear.

If you burr the surface of wooden cutlery with water, wait until it dries and continue sanding to get a smoother surface.

3. Grinding. Finally, sand the wood to 400 grit by hand.

Pour oil into wooden cutlery. Cooked linseed oil is a good penetrating oil. Let it run over the wood surface, then use a disposable brush to coat it evenly.

Will be sanded with oil. Another treatment method is to drop a small amount of oil on the sponge sand table, insert it into an electric drill (turn left), then let the lathe slowly rotate (turn right) and sand the wood on it, which will allow the oil to penetrate better, and leave no traces.

Use a small amount of varnish to mix the oil. You can use an oil/lacquer mix to finish the finish in the same way as penetrating oil, but don't do it too many times or a paint film will form that will be difficult to repair.
